The Divinity of Yeshua, Part 1
August 31, 2019 | Ralph Finley
Passage: Colossians 1:15-17
There are many different views on the nature of Yeshua, and His relation to the Father and the Holy Spirit. In this sermon, Pastor Ralph Finley makes a biblical case for the divinity of Yeshua, and points out that all of the major branches of Messianic Judaism accept this doctrine. He also unpacks Colossians 1:15-17 which is used by some to deny the divinity of Yeshua. It says:
"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist."
