Talking Torah

What is Talking Torah?

We are glad you asked. Talking Torah is an afternoon filled with questions, conversation, and laughter as we gather for a group discussion on the weekly Parashat.  We are encouraged to read the weekly Parashat (or Torah reading), which allows us to enjoy the reading cycle as we go through the year from Simchat Torah to Simchat Torah, reading the entire Torah Scroll from end to end; Talking Torah facilitates a deeper understanding of these weekly readings. Our discussion takes place after services at Ahavat Yeshua.  All those who are interested are welcome to meet 30 minutes after the oneg (delight) meal is served for our discussion.  No prior knowledge is needed to enjoy Talking Torah.

"But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night." Psalm 1:2
