Location: Ahavat Yeshua Messianic Jewish Congregation, 3855 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC US 20016
Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the Jewish Year. It's a solemn time of acknowledging sins and seeking God's forgiveness and mercy. We also want to emphasize that the shedding of blood has always been required for the forgiveness of sin, and it always will be. That is why the Messiah had to die and shed His blood for us. That is the good news. We have a Redeemer who exchanged His blood for ours.
Come join us for a special Yom Kippur service at noon. All are welcome to stay the day, but please respect those who are observing the fast by refraining from eating in common areas. We will then break the fast together at sundown.
